FAQs
How big is the Knife Block?
The default knife block holds 15 knives (7 long, 8 short) - this can be changed on request
I don't see a layout that I like
Thats okay. Please contact us here and we can work with you on a layout that suites your needs.
How do these fit?
We size all organizers to within a fraction of inch of your actual drawer. Our buffer is 1/16" left to right and 1/8" front to back.
For example: Your drawer is 22" wide x 20" deep. The organizer would measure 21 15/16" wide x 19 7/8" deep.
How long until I get my organizer?
We custom build them in 4 weeks.
How do I clean and maintain it?
Just wipe with a lightly damp cloth—no harsh cleaners needed. The mineral oil finish protects the wood naturally. If it starts looking dry after years of use, refresh it with food-safe mineral oil, or oil-wax blend.
What if my drawer dimensions are unusual?
We love a challenge. Odd angles, deep drawers, shallow drawers, weird cutouts—we've probably seen it. We'll work with you to design an organizer that makes the most of your specific space.
Can I add to or modify my organizer later?
No—each piece is built as a complete unit and can't be modified after construction. That's why we work closely with you during the design phase to get the layout exactly right for your cooking needs. Think through how you actually use your kitchen tools, and we'll make sure everything has its perfect place.
What's the difference between Cherry, Walnut, and Maple?
Cherry starts lighter with a warm amber tone and deepens to rich reddish-brown over time. Walnut is darker from the start with deep chocolate tones and dramatic grain patterns. Maple is the lightest option with a clean, creamy blonde color and subtle grain—perfect for bright, modern kitchens. All three are incredibly durable hardwoods—choose based on what matches your kitchen aesthetic.
